Our Team

Kelly Doyle: President | Foster Care Angels

Kelly Doyle President

I am a busy working mum, living in Sydney with my husband Glen and our children. Growing up in a loving and supportive family, foster care was something I was unaware of until adulthood. I enjoy travelling, camping, outdoor activities, reading, having fun with our large family, and am the queen of 80’s music.

Why Foster Care Angels?
My husband Glen and I founded Foster Care Angels in November 2011 after seeing first- hand the experiences of children and young people living in out of home care. We saw some ‘gaps’ and wanted to actively do something to improve outcomes for children and young people living in out of home care.  From humble beginnings operating out of our home to our office and warehouse in Castle Hill today, we are very proud of what our wonderful volunteers and supporters have achieved.

I am a mum of 3 beautiful girls. I was brought up in a large extended family and there was always an extra child or two living with relatives from time to time. Our doors were always open to kids who lived out of home or had no-one to support them. When we couldn't have any more children, becoming involved in foster care seemed like the natural thing to do.

Why Foster Care Angels?
I joined Foster Care Angels wanting to give back to other kids in care.  My time was limited and Foster Care Angels had lots of little projects or jobs that suited my times I was available. I joined the committee to ensure the projects we do truely support the kids & their carers.  My passion is to ensure kids in care have every opportunity to have a life they deserve.

Why Foster Care Angels?
