Why Foster Care Angels?
My wife Kelly and I had some involvement in foster caring and it was this experience that gave us valuable insights into the foster care system. We wanted to do more and in 2011, Foster Care Angels was formed. We continue to expand, implement new programs and support children and young people, and their carers throughout foster care and beyond.
Kelly Doyle Managing Director
My husband Glen and I founded Foster Care Angels in November 2011 after seeing first- hand the experiences of children and young people living in out of home care. We saw some ‘gaps’ and wanted to actively do something to improve outcomes for children and young people living in out of home care. From humble beginnings operating out of our home to our office and warehouse in Castle Hill today, we are very proud of what our wonderful volunteers and supporters have achieved, including recognition as Pride of Australia Medal Finalist, Champions Of The West Finalist and Woman of The Year Award.
Wendy Bennett Program Manager
Wendy joined Foster Care Angels in 2014 and has been with the organisation as it has developed and grown programs that not only support children and young people in foster care but also the fostering family as a whole. Wendy oversees the Foster Care Angels training, education and support programs and is proud to be a part of the Foster Care Angels family.

Without the support of our volunteers we would not be able to provide the services we do. Our team help us hand assemble our care packages, cater our carer conferences, maintain our holiday cabin, sort donations and help us with our fundraising among many, many other things.
