How to Make a Bequest
Thinking about what to do with your assets once you’ve passed can be an overwhelming experience. However, it is often comforting to know that by donating part of your estate to a charity, you can leave a legacy of generosity that will live on, long after you have passed.
What is a Bequest?
A bequest is a directive that you put into your will, instructing that some – or all – of your estate be gifted to a particular cause or charity. A bequest is not limited to money. You can also bequest shares, property, art or any other valuables you might have. Whatever you choose to give, will make a huge difference to the charity you name – and those that they support.
